I have survived the first 2 days of set-up and thoroughly enjoyed the first day of the One of a Kind show & sale! There’s three more days to come visit me, if you’re in the Vancouver Area. Here’s what my booth looked like when we first arrived: DRAB.
And, after two long days of hard work, here she is now in all of her glory!!!!
I am so proud of how everything turned out and that the hard work is paying off. I’ve loved hearing people’s reactions, thoughts and feelings about my work and have already made a number of sales. Looking forward to another FUN day & I will share some more detail shots of the booth later this week. I hope to see you at the Convention Center!!!

9 Decfull to the brim

Well, the versa is pretty much packed to the brim for the One of a Kind Show in Vancouver because John & I head for the west coast bright and early this morning. My mind is also full to the brim with a million thoughts, feelings and emotions: It’s crazy to have worked for SO LONG and SO HARD at something that always seemed SO FAR away & now that we are literally leaving my house with everything jammed into my hatchback, it feels strange that this long awaited moment has finally arrived. Wish us luck!!!!
pressing away
30 Oct
I have been pressing forward with my preparations for OOAK, literally! After finishing close to 700 magnets recently, I feel pretty accomplished knowing that I just produced the same amount of pinback buttons this week! I still have more button press projects to finish up, but getting a big chunk of these tedious repetitive tasks finished, and now leaves more room for me to soon play with altered books, mixed media pieces & some long-awaited printmaking projects
