I searched on my blog to see the last time that I shared any of my outgoing mail with you, and without counting the January “sneak peeks” or my Christmas Etsy orders, I haven’t shared any of my outgoing postal treats since June! This is unacceptable!!! Mail art is one of my favorite hobbies, and is also a great artistic outlet for me; when I share my artful envelopes it is just like sharing a new drawing or screenprint with you! Today I’ve got some super special and clearly overdue outgoing envelopes to share. Enjoy!

outgoing envelopes – part 1

I haven’t shared any outgoing postal treats in forever! I went on a binge mail-art-making fest in late September, and now that many of my outgoing packages have arrived to their recipients postboxes, I can finally share their contents with you. In 100 Mile House I had to check a postbox, so this new, fancy, delivered-right-to-your-door, mailbox system has been a change of pace. The mail arrives in the late afternoon, and if I’m in my studio I’m usually lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the mail carrier walking past the window, possibly holding special treats! So I wanted to share these few new postal arrivals, since I last chronicled my incoming letters in mid-July. There’s also 2 envelopes (from June in 100 Mile) that were recently recovered while going through a few more studio boxes this week!
