After spending many tireless days in a row designing, printing, cutting and pressing, the proud feeling I get looking at the final results are what make it all worthwhile. Magnets for OOAK are all finished up, now to chip away at the next project….

I’m pretty much at the month deadline mark I gave myself for the One of a Kind Vancouver Show and Sale. Heeding the advice of my sister I want to finish creating and give myself a minimum of 2 weeks before the show to just price, package, plan, label & organize everything. I’ve been trying hard completely FINISH product sections, and currently am focusing on magnets and buttons. About 300 deep and a few more hundred to go. Seems as though I am currently stuck creating endless circles with my paper cutter but I do love being productive in my gorgeous studio with some good tunes on.
trinkets for tour
29 JulWorking hard to get organized for the upcoming Columbia Valley Tour of the Arts this long weekend. I finally got all my little bits and bobs finished up: little easy things for people to take along with them, perfect for those who can’t commit to a larger print or pricier piece, but who still love my work and want some memorabilia.
Blackstar requested some more button earrings since they had very few pairs left; so while I was at it, I made some extras to take along with me to my booth.
I also made over 50 pin-back buttons and magnets featuring various images of my work… I promise these will be up in my etsy shop before the end of August! Currently, I am away from the home studio, and thus short on button press supplies, so once I am home they are definitely a priority… expect them soon.
Today I am doing some more book binding and hoping to get over a dozen altered journals fixed up in time for Sunday, while Saturday will mostly likely be dedicated to pricing and other last minute details. Excited & nervous: a good mix of nerves.
