i want to ride my bicycle

The cold autumn air and cooler temperatures are yet another reminder that the time I have left this year to get outside with my beautiful bicycle is limited. I’ve been enjoying cruises with my beau in the afternoon sun, and often sing a bit of Queen while doing so (I can’t help myself).

We went for our first cruise tonight in the wonderful evening spring  air. I am elated.

Last week John and I did a most fabulous bike ride around the 100 mile marsh! After biking the perimeter, we picked up Dairy Queen Blizzards and came back to sit and admire the view. We gawked at adorable families of geese, yellow-headed & red-wing blackbirds chasing each other around tall grass, a variety of ducks and water-treading birds swimming around in the sunshine. This sunny spring afternoon was so inspiring, that I’d like to share my collection of photos with you.

The spring landscape is beautiful: everything is coming alive, from the grass beneath my feet to the birds flying above my head. The South Cariboo is lovely this season.
