Today, I’ve got a few more of my outgoing mail art packages that were stamped, sealed and send with love to pen pals last month. I received some lovely postcards and a few letters this week, so THANKS if you have written to me. Here’s what I recently popped in a postbox:
This year has flown by, but this month especially so. Life is in full swing now that summer is over and since I started working a part-time gig during the day; blogging, of all things, seems to have gotten away from me… but I am hopeful that I will make a conscious effort to share more of my on-goings this week and in weeks to come. It has been too long since I have chronicled some of my snail mail adventures, so writing up this post seemed to be the right thing to do. Above is my beautiful mailbox where all of my postal pleasures arrive and below are half of the mail art goodies I’ve recently received. with ♥ from Heather McGowan (@heathemcgowan)with ♥ from Kimi Kobashi (@kimikobashi)with ♥ from Pagrum Boon with ♥ from Jill Griffin (@jillgriffinart)with ♥ from Kristine Hajas with ♥ from Kira Walker (@gali_gal)
I’ve been busy in my attempts to reply to the stacks of incoming mail, as you can see in the photo above of my messy mail art desk. I’m looking forward to sharing some new outgoing nature’s my friend treats, creations and letters, plus documenting 4 more packages from beloved pen pals! Until the next mail art post, happy letter writing.
The final installment June’s outgoing mail is here today with six more envelopes to share with you (in case you missed out, here’s part 1 & part 2). I have received 5 snail mail packages during these past two weeks and will look forward to sharing that incoming mail with you in the early parts of July when I’m blogging from my new studio! Below are 6 more envelopes that should make you re-evaluate how much fun the mail can be!
I hope you enjoyed the bombardment of postal goodness!!! It was a busy month of mail art making with my little mail art caddy set up by a large picture window. I will miss writing from that spot, but am also looking forward to organizing my stationery and making some fun packages in a fresh and inspiring space! Have you been writing letters or sending off any parcels recently? Snail mail is the best.
