A couple people added my old wolf etsy treasury to their favorites list this morning, and it made me realize that it’s been a while since I’d curated a little list of cute handmade critters. I have been daydreaming of the printmaking I will do this year, and thus got looking at hand-pulled prints of animals… one thing led to another and before I knew it, I had 10 owl prints open in different tabs. Naturally a treasury was born; to our feathered friend, the owl, and the printmakers who illustrate them.

Holiday Memories

I hope your holiday season was glorious! My little vacation to Windermere with my family came and went in the blink of an eye. The saying still rings true: time flies when you’re having fun. Despite my posting of meals and a few festive things on Twitter and Instagram, I forgot to pick up my camera as often as I would have liked, but here are a few of the unshared holiday snaps that I some how found time to shoot:

Made my first etsy treasury today: an ode to the wild and wandering wolf! I had fun searching out all of these beautiful, fuzzy and gray creations. Creating treasuries may become a weekly thing for me; not only because it is fun and inspiring to see how other artists portray animals and nature, but also because a big part of etsy is the community. I have been featured in many wonderful lists and so it is my turn to give back. What’s that old saying? you scratch my back, and i’ll scratch yours…
