the road trip home

After yet another long drive down highway 1 on the west end of this beautiful country, (accompanied by some old CD gems that I discovered while packing up my old room and some fresh and tasty cheese curds from D Dutchmen Dairy) I’ve made it home safe and sound to the sunny South Cariboo. Feels good to be back after an almost 2 week road trip; so much to do and so much to share with you in these next few weeks. I’m excited!

my favorite drive

Driving has never been all that enjoyable for me, as I usually find it to be quite time consuming or stressful amongst traffic. Perhaps this is why I have gravitated to the quieter small town lifestyle that involves more bicycling than motoring. However, there is one road that I always enjoy cruising in car, no matter what: Highway 93. Beautiful rock walls, endless forest and stunning mountains that pierce the sky make me forget about all of the troubles that usually come along with being behind the wheel.
