Sections of the river keep thawing and freezing. The patterns that run across the surface of the forming ice are quite incredible; they’re almost other worldly, much like the markings on the moon.

I hope your holiday season was glorious! My little vacation to Windermere with my family came and went in the blink of an eye. The saying still rings true: time flies when you’re having fun.
