Dearest British Columbia & the Kootenay mountains,
You are beautiful.
I hope we are together forever.
Love always,
Jessica
I never want to leave you
1 Marwinter wonderland
16 Dec
I am breathing out a big sigh of relief and breathing in some fresh, snowy, mountain air. I did two more craft markets this weekend, and although this has been the best craft season I’ve ever had, it was also very tiring and time consuming. I missed getting out and walking around in the mountains to clear my head, look for inspiration and get a little exercise with mother nature… I also missed blogging. So today marks the start of a new phase for me: I am looking forward to resting, creating, and sharing with you more often, now that my demands are fewer. I hope the hectic holiday season hasn’t also eaten up all of your time!
last day in Nelson
9 Dec
Today is my last day in Nelson at the Kootenay Artisan Fair! Doors are open from 10-5, so come visit if you’re nearby. It has been a real pleasure doing a local show, meeting some of my new “neighbours” and getting in touch with other creative cats who are selling their art. I’ve also really enjoyed the view of the snow dusted mountains and trees on my drive in from Castlegar each morning!
Take down of my booth is tonight when the show is over, and next weekend marks the final two craft fairs of the season; looking forward to selling a bit more, then settling down for the holidays. I have missed my daily sketchbook doodling, pen pal replying, nature walking and blog writing… I feel as though I’m bursting with ideas that I want to share / create and the end of next weekend will mark the start of it all. Hope you are doing well and keeping busy. xo
