Life can get away from us sometimes… that’s why it is so important to take time to pause and celebrate the small victories. 
Small victories from this past week: sun beams that have been peeking out from behind the clouds almost every sunset this week, vanilla iced red velvet cupcakes topped with chocolate dipped cherries at MarketFest, feeling patriotic seeing Canada’s entrance at the opening ceremony for London 2012 summer Olympics, one of the gorgeous views of the Columbia River from a recent walk, midnight drinks outside with loved ones in some soft candlelight.
