In 100 Mile House I had to check a postbox, so this new, fancy, delivered-right-to-your-door, mailbox system has been a change of pace. The mail arrives in the late afternoon, and if I’m in my studio I’m usually lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the mail carrier walking past the window, possibly holding special treats! So I wanted to share these few new postal arrivals, since I last chronicled my incoming letters in mid-July. There’s also 2 envelopes (from June in 100 Mile) that were recently recovered while going through a few more studio boxes this week! I hope to be replying to my pen pals very soon, especially because I’ve unpacked and organized of my mail art supplies; all that’s left to do is WRITE!

I love your mail blogs; I am slighty green with envy that you have so many pen pals! Though I have to admit I’m not very good at keeping up writing to mine on a regular basis. I must do better.
Thanks! I currently owe a dozen people so I need to get writing… A lady I follow on twitter who loves snail mail called @missivemaven has letter seals in her etsy shop that say “want a letter? write a letter.” it’s so true.
