It is a common sight to see my little Versa parked outside the Castlegar Public Library these days, as my home internet still has not been hooked up. If it weren’t for a contract with Telus, we would have been switching providers immediately… however, we are stuck with them for 4 more months, and thus am forced to wait impatiently for their technician to arrive sometime next week (yes 2 weeks after the initial date they told me it would be set up). Come the last two weeks of July, I better be writing to you from the desk in my fabulous new studio… if not, you can instead envision me angrily yelling at the Telus customer service representatives over the phone (yet again)!
update: we are now borrowing internet from the landlord for a week! I am connected.
