There are a few places in the world that I am proud to call home and one of them is my beautiful cabin at Windermere Lake. Designed by my incredible architect parents and built by the hands of my entire family, it has been a second home for us for over a dozen years. Out here, I’ve spent countless summers and holidays with my loved ones, worked at some great jobs, met my gorgeous fiance and forged some incredible friendships; every time I arrive, it’s impossible not to feel love and memories rushing towards me.
I just had a wonderful yet very short 36 hours where I was endlessly spoiled by good food, great company and gorgeous views. Since moving to the Cariboo I’ve missed the good old Invermere days when these many wonderful blessings were the everyday norm. I suppose this is the reason why I especially enjoyed my limited time in the Columbia Valley and can’t wait to return again later this summer.

What a wonderful place, you’re very lucky :)
I’m so glad we got a chance to get together while we were both out for a visit! : )
