sandy toes and breezy skies

Mexico is so amazing; hot weather, sandy beach, deep turquoise waters and a refreshing breeze. We spent half of the day with sandy toes on a beach chair and the other half in the beautiful waves flying my kite with the consistent ocean breeze. Tough life, eh?

from drawings & doodles to a warm welcome

Left for Mexico this morning; the flight was just under five hours and the time flew right by while I was just doodling and drawing. We arrived to sunny Mexico mid-afternoon and were greeted by hot humid weather, friendly and helpful hosts and a warm welcome in our suite: bright beautiful flower petals sprinkled about and fancy towel swans. Bliss.

Flying today from British Columbia to Alberta, I sat in the window seat to allow myself the chance to absorb many of the incredible landscapes that sprawl across my beautiful country. From the rolling hills and expansive lakes to the snow capped mountains and endless prairie, Canada is a truly awe-inspiring place to call home.
