 The red polls have been demolishing the seeds on my tree out front, and now that the seeds are dwindling, they have recently caught onto eating from my feeder. What cuties! Common Red Polls can endure the coldest temperatures of all songbirds. Because they don’t have much body fat, they are constantly eating to keep their metabolism up. This is the reason why I’ve seen these little devils, almost every single day, eating their hearts content in my front yard.
