As a printmaker I understand the beauty of taking the extra time required to make a plate, a stamp, a screen etc if you have an image or text that requires repeating. So I’m surprised it took me so long to realize that I could really use a stamp for my return address. Not just for use in all of my mail art ventures, but with my etsy shop opening in just one month, I am hoping to add even more envelopes to my outgoing pile. 
I found a great company from Canada called T.S.T. They have a HUGE variety of stamps to choose from: self-inking, stock stamps, date stamps or traditional hand stamps. Their customer service is excellent: they send you proofs of your stamps and don’t go to production until you are totally satisfied with the design… Cindy happily dealt with my indecisiveness and was receptive to all of my on-going ideas and slight adjustments.
I ordered two self inking stamps: one for my return address and decided that while I was at it, to also get one with my web/online contact info. They look great, work fabulous, and now my faux post office is more official and efficient than ever! 
Honestly, if you write something or draw the same thing several times a week, you probably should just own a stamp for it!
So smart! After years of hand-writing my address on outgoing zines and etsy orders, I recently got a sweet return-address stamp. My thought is: less time writing, more time to work on my projects :)
I was thinking of this because of PoorlyDrawnThings-she has the best stamp! It sure seems like a good idea.
