Today is the 30th of April, 2011; I am now twenty-five. Happy birthday to me! Looking forward to a new year of challenges, excitement and creative adventures in my life.
quarter century
30 Aprwho? HOO!
29 AprI am excited to share the cover design for my newest zine all about one of my favourite types of bird, owls. It is titled who? HOO!
This is my latest zine since mountains made of fur, which was my first. This new volume who?HOO! combines hand-drawn, digital, collage, printmaking and photographic imagery all inspired by this powerful and majestic bird. There are just a few minor finishing touches needed and then it will be ready to print. I will be distributing some to lucky mail art pen pals and would also like to happily trade one of my zines for a zine, postcard, drawing, etc. with the first 15 people who leave a comment on this post.
the ABCs of me
26 AprThis post was inspired by the ever-creative and super cool Crystal from House of Hearts, who found this fill-in-the-blank via some of her lovely friends. She posted her answers on the blog for us to read and I think this is a great way to let people get to know you better without doing something like twitters boring #100factsaboutme or writing a long-winded post about deep passions and interests.
